Strictly Business: Starting Your Own Business Checklist
Research can't agree whether millennials are on track to be the most entrepreneurial OR if millennials, due to the slow return of the economy, are the least entrepreneurial generation fearing that these murky waters of an economy are the wrong time to go putting all of your entrepreneurial dreams into the wrong basket. I don't know who's right but one thing I do know is that many people: my friends (on FB or IRL), people I follow on social media, church members, family members, etc. are starting businesses or want to start businesses and be successful at them.
Before you can start a business just like before you, say, plan a beautiful, life-changing vacation, you need to make a list. I've put together a list of things I think you should do to start and launch your business. However, do not let this be the only list you look to. There are a plethora of resources on starting a business and many people would add to this list I have compiled for you. I think this is enough to get you started. If you want more details into each item on the list, feel free to sign up for my Strictly Business newsletter below in order to download the Becoming Your Own Boss 101 free eBook. Check out the list below:
Again, this isn't a comprehensive list. Starting a business that's on the path to being successful takes a lot of hard work. If I put down in detail EVERYTHING you needed to do to get started you'd be completely overwhelmed (and me too just from creating the list!). Anyhow, I hope this list inspires you to take the first step towards owning your own business.
If you want more details on what's involved in each step, be sure to sign up for the Strictly Business newsletter where you'll receive free tips and resources. I promise not to bombard you with unnecessary information. Everything in the newsletter will be, just like it says, strictly business.
