Short Love Stories | Vol. 1:2
"I'll always choose you," I say to him in one of my daydreams. I don't have the courage yet to say things like that to his face. Not yet. He probably wouldn't believe me anyway. People don't talk to each other like that anymore...except for in the movies or on one of those Humans of New York posts where couples share sweet stories of their first time falling in love. So, maybe they're saying it in New York. Isn't that where all the lovers go?
Anyhow, so instead of telling him, I kiss him. I kiss his face for every time I have one of those thoughts that are too sweet to speak aloud. Maybe my words won't get the message to him, but my kisses can. They'll say:
"She loves you like crazy"
"She had said 'I love you' to others but not until she said it to you again did she truly understand how to love"
"Don't break her heart but if you must, do it gently"
